General information: Good Kind Wenceslaus Apartment

This apartment was the first one I purchased in Prague and holds a special sentimental value to me. It was completely rebuilt from the ground up and only the best materials and equipment were used as I was planning to keep this just as a place for me to stay when I was in Prague.

It is a beautiful, luxuriously furnished and air-conditioned (functionally a 2 bedroom) apartment (92m2 + balcony) in the center of Prague. Located on Stepanska Street just across from the SAS Radisson Alcron Hotel and next door to the Lucerna Palac (still owned by the Havel family).

The apartment is ideal for both short term rentals and for longer stays as it's location on the 2nd Floor of a beautiful turn of the century building and is just steps away from Wenceslaus Square, hence it's name. There is a new but rather small elevator for your use in reaching the apartment. Security is very good for this building and the apartment has a fully functional security door.

From spacious the entrance hall one can access a fully equipped and modern kitchen. The kitchen is completely outfitted with near professional quality gas cook top and regular, microwave and convection ovens. All the cabinets are custom made and feature soft close doors.

The kitchen leads to a pleasant dining/lounge area with a unique rosewood dining table and seating and provides access to a balcony overlooking the central courtyard.

The apartment has a main large bathroom with jetted tub, towel warmers and underfloor heating.  There is separate toilet area in the bathroom as well as both washing machine and dryer.

The living room is equipped with home cinema system with a large flat screen television with surround system and a dvd player. There is cable television with some English language channels.

The bedroom is equipped with a kingsize bed arrangement that can also be used as two singles. There is another flat screen television in the bedroom in addition to a walk in closet and another small en suite bathroom with shower, basin and toilet.

There is two zone air conditioning to keep the apartment comfortable at any time of the year. We also provide all the necessary amenities such as iron and ironing board, toaster, coffee maker, pots and pans, glasses, tableware and just about anything you would need. 

Sleeps max 4 (2 in the main bedroom and 2 on comfortable foldout sofa/futons).

Thanks to the apartment's central location, one can explore the city easily by foot and after a hard day's sightseeing or night partying, relax in the quiet ambiance of this apartment.

• Air Conditioning: Zone A/C with remote control for different areas of the apartment.
• Washer: Washer and Dryer are located in the main bathroom.
• Dryer: Dryer and Washer are located in the main bathroom.
• Linens Provided: This includes linens for the two single bed futons. So comfortably four people can stay here.
• Elevator: The elevator is a bit small and old but is scheduled for replacement soon

Beds

• King Bed: Not sure how to adequately describe this bed except to say that there are two mattresses so that your bedmates movements won't disturb you.
• Convertible Bed: These two futons are exceeding comfortable and have all linens provided. They are the equivalent of large single beds.

Entertainment

• Cable/Satellite TV: Several English channels, full home theater system with DVD, surround sound, etc.
• DVD
• Video Library: This varies from time to time.
• CD Player
• Stereo System
• Jetted Tub in Bath: Beautiful jacuzzi style tub in the main bathroom.

Kitchen

• Full Kitchen: Custom kitchen with conventional oven, microwave and convection. All appliances from toaster to gourmet coffee maker. Everything you could want is here.
• Cooking Utensils Provided: First quality and everything you could want from coffee/tea cups, glasses, pots and pans, kettle, wine glasses, etc.
• Refrigerator: Includes freezer.
• Dishwasher
• Microwave

Outdoor Features

• Balcony: Small balcony that overlooks the courtyard.

Communications

• Cell Phone: We offer a cell phone so you can be reached while in the apartment. If you wish to make outgoing calls the cell phone must be reloaded with time which is easily done most anywhere in the city.
• Computer: Dell laptop is provided along with highspeed wireless internet access.
• Broadband Internet: Full highspeed cable internet access with unlimited access that is free for you to use.
• WiFi (Wireless Internet): Works throughout the apartment.

Other Amenities

• Directly in the center of the city, steps from Wenceslas Square, near all public transportation and is the finest apartment you will find in this entire area.

Suitability

• No Pets Allowed
• Handicapped Accessible (may have limitations): There is a small elevator but we wouldn't really recommend this for someone with severe disabilities.
• Wheelchair Accessible (may have limitations)
• Smoking Allowed: Only on the small balcony.
• Smoking Not Allowed: You may smoke on the small balcony.

View/Location

• Monument View: Just 50 yards away you can view the Czech National Museum, the statue of St. Wenceslaus. Right next door is the famous Lucerna Palace (still owned by the family of the Czech Republic's first prime minister Vaclav Havel) with it's famous celing mounted statue of St. Wenceslaus and his upside down horse.
